What is Encaustic?
With encaustic, paint is applied hot and manipulated in a variety of methods. A torch is used between each layer in order to bond layers together. Special effects can be created using a variety of tools and R & F paint sticks.

Molten beeswax, damar resin and oil pigment make up the encaustic paint product.
